ダイカスト法、ランナ、ゲート、オーバーフロー
アルミニウム合金やマグネシウム合金等の溶融金屬を、ピストンにより高速高圧で金型內(nèi)へ加圧圧入することにより、製品を作るための一般的な方法。溶融金屬が金型で急冷されるために、できた製品の組織が非常細(xì)かくなり、高い特性が得られると共に、表面性狀の非常に良い製品が得られる。しかし、溶融金屬を金型の端から端まで流すために、「ランナ」という金型までの通り道や「ゲート」という金型へ入るための流れ口や金型內(nèi)を流れ出た金屬がたまる「オーバーフロー」といった余分なものができてしまう。ダイカスト法では、一般的に、これらの量が製品とほぼ同じかあるいはそれより大きくなってしまう
