固液共存狀態(tài)
金屬材料が完全に溶けた狀態(tài)と、完全に固まった狀態(tài)との間の狀態(tài)が固液共存狀態(tài)である。純金屬では、一定の溫度で液體から固體に変化するが、この溫度では固體と液體が共存する。また、合金になると液體から固體へ変化する溫度に幅ができ、純金屬に較べて広い溫度範囲で、固體と液體が共存する。液體狀態(tài)では水と同じように流動性が高いので、鋳型內(nèi)を簡単に流れることができる。しかし、固液共存狀態(tài)になると液體中に固體が分散してくるので、ペーストやコンクリートのように流動性が悪くなり、そのままでは鋳型內(nèi)を流れにくくなる。しかし、コンクリートやペーストもよくかき混ぜると流れやすくなる。
これと同じことが金屬の固液共存狀態(tài)でもおこる。固液共存狀態(tài)の方が鋳造欠陥が出にくくなるので、製品を作るのにはよいが、流動性が悪くなる點をかき混ぜる様なことを加えて改善してやる必要がある
